The Honi-Honi Bar, or “The Honi” if you are a regular is a must see. The coolest part is that you can boat right up to the dock and park for a few cocktails!
The Honi is located on the southwest part of the fattest part of the lake, right off of Rt 219/Garrett Highway – actual address is 19475 Garrett Highway – Oakland, MD.
They have the best live bands in the area, different bands play on Friday and Saturday nights, and The Honi is right next door to Unos Chicago Grill. The schedule for the upcoming bands can be found on their website. Before or after a couple of drinks at The Honi Honi, you can also see a movie right across the street at Garrett 8 Cinemas. A great night or two is all packed into 1 area on Deep Creek Lake!
Lastly, let me save you a trip….don’t go on a Sunday. They are closed due to county regulations. We had to learn this the disappointing way……. BOOOOO!!!! December 2008 – update on alcohol consumption on Sundays.
